Boone Jenner

BOONE JENNER IS CAPTAIN OF THE COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS OF THE NHL!!!

He is from Dorchester and was drafted to the OHL from the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs in the first round.
He was the Captain of the Oshawa Generals when he entered the NHL as a second-round draft pick and has worn a letter on his jersey for the last 7 seasons, being, most recently, named Captain.

He was the Captain of the Hockey Canada U17 team, played on Hockey Canada's World Junior Team and on the Hockey Canada Men's Team!
His accomplishments in hockey are incredible!

Imagine being Captain in the OHL, NHL and with Team Canada teams!
Boone Jenner will be able to share unbelievable memories and lessons on leadership to the attendees!

Nicole & Julia Gosling

Graduates of LDCSB, Julia and Nicole Gosling have had incredible success so far in their hockey careers!

From playing for the London Devilettes, to the Canadian Women’s U18 team, both Julia and Nicole Gosling have had tremendous success!

The cousins are both currently playing NCAA hockey for top women’s programs in the USA.

They have knowledge to share regarding leadership and life skills that they have learned as well as can speak to opportunities for female players and non-players in womens and men’s hockey.

Todd Humphrey

From Western University to Senior Vice-President of the Seattle Kraken!

After his hockey playing days were over Todd Humphrey started out in the tech industry producing several successful startups.

When he had a chance to launch a professional sports franchise he couldn’t pass it up. The tech world and hockey world were coming together.

He has so much knowledge to share regarding tech, fan engagement, creating an innovative sports franchise, diverse staffing in professional hockey, and more!

Ty Glover

Ty Glover is a 2000 born Londoner that didn’t have a typical path to his NHL contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He is a true late bloomer with a lot of experiences to share from playing high school hockey in grade 12 to an NHL contract in 4 years.

He went from the OJHL and Team Canada East, to the USHL, to D1 at Western Michigan signing after 2nd year.

Learn about concepts related to being a late bloomer, the different leagues and paths some players take to continue playing hockey after 18, and more!

Easton Cowan

Easton Cowan is local minor hockey product that plays for the London Knights.

He has had a tremendous start to his debut in the OHL and with Team Canada U17’s.

He is an example of a leader on his team as he brings a positive attitude, exemplary communication skills, and a genuine love of the game and his teammates.

We are happy to have Easton share his experiences learning leadership qualities.

Tyrell Campbell

Tyrell Hill Campbell went from being the captain of his Junior Knights hockey team to a member of Hockey Canada’s Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Group.

Hear his story about how he created a guidebook with role models and strategies for everyone to improve their inclusive practices with marginalized groups in sports and how the NHL took notice and did a feature story on it.

Wade Russel

Wade is from London and started his journey working in hockey from his high school co-op class.

With work experience at TPH hockey to the London Knights to Western Hockey while completing his Kinesiology degree.

He followed that up with a Masters in Coaching and Leadership from
Michigan State and is currently working at UNB in hockey operations while finishing his teaching qualification.

He has so much to share regarding putting yourself out there! He continues to take every opportunity to learn more in hockey regardless of where it takes him.

Topher Scott

So thankful Topher took the time to speak to us!
An undersized player that persevered to play D1 hockey followed by coaching D1 hockey.

Has a podcast called the “Hockey Think Tank” with over 200 episodes of guests from NHL players and coaches to community leaders.

This coach and entrepreneur had so much to share that we can learn from on utilizing skills, leadership, building culture, and integrity.

Mitch Stewart

Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Arizona Coyotes in the NHL

From Ingersoll, to London, to Arizona!

Mitch has a wealth of information about what individuals require to reach their personal goals or in the gym. He offers some excellent insight for players regarding training at different levels in hockey.

We look forward to hearing him share his knowledge!

Mike Stubbs

Talk show host and Radio play-by-play voice of the London Knights as well as, Instructor at Fanshawe College.

In the area of broadcasting, he is a true professional and has worked to establish himself locally and nationally. Mike Stubbs has been a part of the broadcasting industry for many years and has much wisdom and experience to share with delegates.

We are so fortunate to be able to learn from his vast experiences.

Amanda Mazzotta Alessi

Former Londoner, Hockey Canada, and NCAA player at Cornell.
Now coaching with Quinnipiac in D1 womens hockey.

She shares great info on leadership, being a good teammate, and believing if you have the skills and character you can work in hockey if you want to.

Danny Syvret

Danny Syvret is an example of full-circle leadership.
He captained the London Knights to a Memorial Cup Championship (all of Canada). He also won gold with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships!

Danny followed up those successes with professional hockey in the NHL and Europe.

He now coaches in London the U16 age group for the AAA London Junior Knights.

If there’s anyone at this conference that has modelled leadership and been a part of winning selfless teams - it’s Danny Syvret.

We are happy Danny is coming in to be for our live panel to share leadership knowledge bombs!

Amy Regan

Did you know you can work in hockey and sports entertainment as a producer, crew, or production manager?

Amy Regan is a former LDCSB grad that has produced or worked in production for: the 2022 Super Bowl, NHL Awards, Canadian Country Music Awards, 2022 Men’s Basketball Final Four, Hockey Wives, 2010 Olympics, Battle of the Blades, NHL Winter Classics, and more!

Payton Harrison

Payton is an example of doing the work and gaining the knowledge to earn the opportunity to work in the NHL.

A high school student in a Health and Wellness SHSM she excelled in co-op class securing learning opportunities with Ontario Summer Games and the Hockey Canada Gala and Golf event.

Her portfolio and very high grades allowed her to gain ‘advanced entry’ into Kinesiology combined with Ivey Business School at Western University.

This 2001 born Londoner has been at an Internship with the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL since May, proving that if you start now, you too can build your resume in high school to earn exceptional opportunities.

Brett Harrison

Brett Harrison is a 2021 Boston Bruins draft pick from London.

He played minor hockey in his early years for the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs and then London Junior Knights. He was a 1st round draft pick to the OHL and plays on the Oshawa Generals and since arriving he has only excelled in the league.

He played for Team Canada U17 in the World U17 Hockey Challenge, as well as the Team Canada U18 IIHF Men's World Championship team winning GOLD.

We are pleased to have Brett share what he has learned about leadership and winning teams and culture.

Natalie Wakabayashi

If you've been at an event in London, ON, you've probably seen Natalie there! Natalie has received the top 20 under 40 in London, as she has certainly made her mark on our city. She formally held the role of Marketing Manager with the London Knights and currently is the Director of Culture & Entertainment at Tourism London.

She is part of a team that brings all kinds of sport, culture, and entertainment events to our city. She is an avid golfer and hockey coach!

Natalie has a wealth of knowledge to share regarding sports and business relationships, your personal brand as well as the importance of good citizenship. She leads by example and is a part of many citywide charitable initiatives. She has a wealth of life skills and experiences to share with us regarding all kinds of various careers you may not have even knew existed.

Lawson Crouse

Lawson Crouse is an absolute force to play against. At 6'4 and 220 pounds he is a relentless power forward.

Lawson played for Team Canada winning gold at the World Junior championships and is currently in the NHL playing for the Arizona Coyotes.

We are pumped to hear some stories from playing hockey in the desert to winning gold with players like Connor McDavid.
